In particular, they include Novartis (Switzerland), ABB (Switzerland), Hoechst AG, now Aventis (Germany), Ford Research, Michigan (USA), Organon — Akzo Nobel Pharma, (The Netherlands), Nestlé Research, (Switzerland), Mitsubishi Chemical (Japan), Merck Research, New Jersey (USA).
