World’s largest OLED display |
Zurich, March 13, 2003—Chi Mei Optoelectronics has announced
the world’s largest organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display
driven by amorphous silicon thin-film transistors (TFTs). Core pieces
of the underlying technology have been developed at IBM’s Zurich
Research Laboratory as well as at IBM research labs in the US and
in Japan. Chi Mei’s press
