Int'l Challenge for Eclipse

Contest: International Challenge for Eclipse

The International Challenge for Eclipse (ICE) is a plug-in contest open to students, faculty and developers worldwide. Sponsored by eclipse.org member companies, ICE is the first contest that promotes and awards the development of Eclipse-based plug-ins that can be used for teaching, research or community-building.

ICE consists of two categories of entries:
» Students
» Open
To participate in the Student category, students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university and are over the age of majority in their country of residence. Students may enter as part of a team of two or as individuals.
All others, including faculty, may enter the Open category.

Faculty can also win if their students win in the Student category and specify their faculty member. To qualify, faculty must register separately and teach Eclipse to their students. IBM will host a webcast on 24 October 2003 to help you teach a two-day course on Eclipse. Register at the ICE Website.

Prizes include
