I am currently interested in mobile DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast), conditional access for DAB, and personal area networking, working with the pervasive computing group here at IBM Research, Zurich.
The thesis was on service discovery in transient ad-hoc wireless networks, and was completed under the supervision of Dr. Refik Molva at Eurécom. Although I was associated with Eurécom, the degree was awarded by at EPFL here in Switzerland.
Other things, like my masters thesis on using a ray-tracing-like algorithm for prediction of indoor radio signal propagation, at least one related paper, and some other miscellaneous writings and musings are available on my old homepage from the Shoshin group at the University of Waterloo in Canada.
