The Information Services team (part of the global Research Emerging Technology Engineering group) is an integral part of the research environment and supports both the technical-scientific and the administrative communities of the IBM Research Laboratory in Rüschlikon.

To expand our support team, we are looking for an

ICT support specialist (60 – 90%)


Your responsibilities include

  • Installing, configuring, maintaining and managing new and existing employees' systems
  • Ensuring 1st and 2nd level as well as application support by mail, phone and chat in the areas of hardware, software and applications (Windows and MAC OS); interface to 3rd level support
  • Ensuring that device hardware, operating systems, software and related procedures adhere to organizational requirements and corporate standards
  • Carrying out administrative tasks in the support area, minor hardware repairs and coordination with the service technicians

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm and a passion for IT
  • Ideal prerequisites are customer orientation, service thinking, the ability to communicate openly and to work together in a team
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and software, especially Microsoft Windows and MacOS
  • 2-3 years of experience in a support environment
  • Good spoken German and English skills
  • (Knowledge of Lotus Notes and hardware maintenance is an advantage)
